Meet well known Ottawa blogger, author, freelance writer and editor, Laura Byrne Paquet.
Laura’s first encounter with the written word was odd: Her birth announcement appeared in a newspaper’s classifieds under the heading “Livestock for Sale.”
Despite that rocky start, she’s written for more than 80 publications and websites in Canada and elsewhere, including the Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Magazine, EverythingZoomer.com and DreamScapes. Laura speaks about travel and other topics on TV and radio, runs a local travel website called Ottawa Road Trips, and has written or co-authored 15 books.
