The Ottawa Food Bank was formed in 1984 when several small community food banks pooled resources to help the most vulnerable in our community. The organization has grown significantly since then and now functions as the City’s only central food collection, warehouse, and distribution centre, providing 12 to 14 tons of food daily to a large network of front-line member agencies.
Please note: There is plenty of parking available both in front and next to the building at 2001 Bantree St., as well as street parking in the surrounding area. We will meet just inside the main door. For their own safety, visitors are required to wear closed-toed shoes or boots in the warehouse.
