ERAO PRESENTS

A scenic spring walk and lunch

Wednesday, May 8, starting at 10:00 am

Here’s a chance to try the LRT and see some of the landmarks of our beautiful city.
ITINERARY - MAY 8th
10:00 am: We will meet at the front door of the Canadian War Museum, 1 Vimy Pl.
  • From there, we'll walk to the magnificent Chaudière Falls (about 10 minutes).
  • We'll then walk west along the Ottawa River onto the Chief William Commanda Bridge multi-use pathway (30 minutes).
  • From there, it’s a short walk back to the Bayview LRT Station, and one stop back to Pimisi Station at the War Museum where we will have lunch at the Museum cafeteria.
Total walking time will be about 45 to 60 minutes.

The weather would have to be reasonable or we will reschedule. Visit this webpage and check your email inbox regularly for updates.

Parking at the Museum is available but you have to pay. If you want to be adventurous, take OC Transpo (no charge on Wednesday for seniors) to Tunney's Pasture and from there, the LRT to Pimisi Station (Canadian War Museum stop).
